1980 – 1995
Qualified as a solicitor, gradually became specialist in Commercial Law.  Main track record in this period was for Commercial Litigation covering many areas of business including high profile entertainment contracts, commercial property contracts, and insurance claim disputes.

Qualified as a mediator and conducted commercial mediations.

1995 to present
Having left her position as commercial partner at another medium-sized firm in Birmingham, set up Ferdinand Kelly.  First 5 years – specialist high level ground breaking litigation in EU Competition Law, going through the higher Courts in England up to the European Court.

Increasingly non-contentious business advice taken on, continuing with EU Competition specialism and deepening specialism in insurance matters, intellectual property and cases involving media/entertainment.
