FK was approached by a company which had been formed and financed by an Italian businessman who had a similar business in Italy. They were taking over the current business and plant of a big multi-national company, the plant being on the outskirts of Birmingham.
The new company wanted to make sure that there were no snags left in taking over the lease of the premises for the next 10 years at a cost of the thick end of a million pounds.
We had to act quickly because of the timing of the take-over deal, we got some major liabilities cleared away and made sure there were no clogs left on the new company's leasehold title (there were some, and we had to insist quite hard).
